Using the "Order proposal email" app, it is possible to define that emails with an order proposal are sent at regular intervals to the xentral user. If the stock quantity is lower than the minimum stock, the system checks which quantity is lacking compared to the minimum stock. In addition, the system checks whether scheduled articles from open orders are sufficiently in stock to process the orders.
Overview
Via App Center → Order proposal e-mail, the e-mail address to send the order proposals to can be stored.
Activate module → Check to use the app
Recipient for email from cronjob → Enter email address the order proposal will be sent to. To enter multiple addresses, use a semicolon
Notifications only on working days → Check to receive emails only on working days
Process starter
Sending emails automatically is done via the "Order proposal email" process starter. To do this, a new process starter must be created, activated and have the correct parameter.
In the following example, a new process starter is created: It always runs on Mondays at 5 p.m. (17:00) and sends the email with the order proposal, if there are positions in it.
Description → Enter "Order proposal email" here
Type → Select the desired type from the drop-down menu
Weekday → Set the appropriate day of the week
Start time → Enter the start time and the start date
Last Run → Enter the time as well as the date of the last execution
Type → Select the type "Cronjob" from the drop-down menu
Parameter → Enter "bestellvorschlagemail" as the parameter
Active → Check the box to use the process starter
Each email generally shows the same result as the Order Proposal interface. The column on the far right shows how many units of each article are lacking in stock, so you can check whether open orders can be covered or the minimum stock can be maintained.
Note
The Order Proposal Email module does not take the system setting Order Proposal Quantity (System settings > Miscellaneous) into account. If this setting is configured, the email output may differ from the view in the Order Proposal module.
